SOME OF MY MOST RECENT PROJECTS:
**Young boy's room - wanted his favorite room to reflect his favorite football team, The Steelers! So I created a SCORE BOARD on his headboard by cutting out and shaping plywood to resemble a scoreboard showing the Steelers vs. Patriots (of course the Steelers were winning!). Then using the colors (black and gold), I created horizontal stripes and decked his bedroom out.
**Homeowner's backsplash had no tiles on it. They weren't sure of what they would do with countertops. Until then, I hand painted tiles to look like 6" travertine and used depths and highlights to give it a 3-dimensional look. Homeowners called me and told me that people actually go up to the wall and touch it when they compliment them on the tile work. They simply can't believe it's not tiled at all - it's all a painted illusion!
**Habitat for Humanity "Restore" - I will be redesigning the six display booths at the "Restore" on Wendover Street in Charlotte. Each booth will contain ONLY items from the Restore. This is to illustrate what can be done with recycled furniture and materials. There will be a bedroom, kitchen, dining room living room, and a Seasonal Room. Stop by and check them out around the first of the year!
**Southern Christmas Home Show - I will be one of eight exhibitors at the Home Show this year. November 10th through the 22nd! Teaming up with the Habitat for Humanity "Restore", I will be creating a booth using furniture and materials from the Restore.
