Thanks to all who have responded thus far. We are conducting another round of participants who are 50 years of age and/or over for a research project that will culminate in a book format by spring 2010.

If you are 50 years of age and/or older and have had difficulties obtaining a job, please send us your resume, your age, how long you have been in the job market, a summary detailing your current unemployment situation. Please let us know how many resumes you have submitted and how many interviews you have gone on. This will be part of an anecdotal look. If you feel uneasy about your personal information, please redact it from the resume. Again, we will be culminating all of our research and findings into a book scheduled for a spring 2010 release. We can not accept every submission, but we will make every effort to make contact with everyone who does submit.

As stated above, our primary goal will be to chronicle the stories, resumes, ages, and actions into a book format in hopes of raising more awareness to this issue. Our secondary goal, is to provide an agreed upon residual revenue stream via book sales to the selected respondents during this trying time of their lives. No, it will not take the place of true and steady employment, but it's a start and that's all the opportunity we need sometimes to turn things around.
