Great Dane - Extra Large - Young - Female - Dog - Cameron
Description
Hello, my name is Cameron (Cam or Cammie to most). Mommy says I am around 4 years old, although I still feel and can act like a puppy. I am a Merlequin female with one marbled eye and one brown eye and I have the cutest pink nose with black spots. I do have some issues with my rear legs but they haven't caused any problems and aside from my butt looking like it is tucked in at times you would never know it. I was an abuse case in my former life but I am quickly putting all those memories behind me. I am learning what toys are (boy oh boy let me tell you they are fun to play with) and that humans are not going to hurt me. I love love love to take rides in the car and go on walks with mom and my fur-siblings but my most favorite thing to do is run as fast as I can and chase my fur sister around the yard or either wrestle with her in the living room. I make my foster mom laugh so hard she cries when I get the super zoomies because I get so excited and run so fast that sometimes my butt drags the ground and my feet kick up grass. I did get so excited the other day that well my brakes didn't work and I ran right into her hehe I am sooo proud to say that I now weigh 101 pounds.....yes I know ladies are never suppose to reveal their weight but I am super excited about my 40 pound weight gain since being in foster care. I currently live with a wiggly butt boxer and a really goofy dane mix sister. At first I was really scared and cowered against the floor alot but when mom got me home she convinced me to try and get on this big long fluffy red thing.............A COUCH.........and ever since then it is my absolute favorite place to be, it really is heaven. I am a really good girl and don't potty in the house, I know how to sit with my siblings for our treats and I do great on walks. When mom sits down on HER couch I love to come over and bury my head in her lap and usually she will let me climb up and lay with her. I make mom giggle when I do my hungry dance, I will jump up and down and wiggle my entire body while I make cute noises..........hey when you know what it is like to be starved you can't help but get excited right?! I must admit though that their are times when I get called down during playtime because SHE says I am getting a little too rough. Mom also tells me that I need to take it easy when I introduce myself to other fur friends. What.....you mean running up to them and letting out some hello grumbles isn't polite? I never mean any harm I am just so excited to meet new friends since I was chained out on a log in my other life. I do great with all people; male, female, and children and all dogs although I may not be great with little small dogs because I get a little too excited when they take off running. Also, I am really interested in those fluffy things that meow, kitties I think is what the humans call them. I don't want to hurt them I am just super curious about them. I do have to admit that sometimes I still get a little scared when people make really quick movements around me or raise their hands. I am trying hard to work on this and am getting much better but I guess the scars from before are still with me. When I do get scared I will not fear bite though, I will just cower and tinkle a litle, so as long as you understand to be gentle and easy around me then I agree to not potty on your floor. I just finished my heartworm treatment and after I am spayed I will be ready to go. I will be sad to leave because I will miss my foster mommy and siblings so much but I am really excited at the thought of my very own furever home. My mom did want me to tell you that I need a fenced in yard and she preferred that I have a medium to large dog in my new home as a companion because I really seem to come out of my shell and am mush more relaxed when I have a friend. Cameron's adoption fee is $300
