Hi, my name is Evelena, a girl brown/gray tabby (short coat), with a really stunning spotted/ticked pattern if I may say so myself. No ordinary stripes for me! I'm most likely not really an Abby, or maybe just a teensy bit, but my coat has that same kind of pattern, so I hope you'll look at me regardless! I arrived in the shelter in July of 09. Poor Evelena was trapped in a big feral round-up and once I was safe and off the street, I could let them know I'm no feral kitty, I'm friendly as can be and in fact I love sitting on laps (hmmm, maybe yours will become available?)I can now relax and let my hair down, and I'm quite the talker you know. I talk, talk, talk, and then talk some more. I've even learned how to say 'hello' in the human language. Anyway, I also love to talk about myself, and I should point out to you that I have beautiful 'grizzled' fur with white tips on all my hairs, so I'm quite a pretty girl as well (that spotted/ticked coat I was telling you about earlier). Say, do you think we could continue this conversation at your place? I hope I go there soon, because even though life is good in my foster home, I'd rather have my own home. I have had my spay and shots too, so there's no waiting, so please don't make sweet Evelena wait.Evelena is a very sweet cat and very easygoing in general, including the other cats in her foster home. When she first arrived at her foster home, she made herself comfortable and went to sleep among the other kitties and that was that! She also likes to hang out on an available lap, so she's definitely a good match for someone who is looking for an affectionate cat.
