Date Listed: Jul-16-08 Hi, my name is Jeff; I'm a boxer/dane mix. They tell me I act like a boxer, but look more like a dane at 100 pounds. I'm almost four years old and am very sweet. My original family couldn't take me to Germany when they moved, so I ended up at the rescue. I wasn't socialized all that well when I was young, so I'm not quite sure how to meet other dogs and don't really know how to act around them, so I bark and growl a lot. I need alot of work on that. I typically like the female dogs better than the males because I'm not sure what the males are going to do and I get anxious and loud around them. I'm very smart and know how to sit, come, down and am house-trained. I love, love, love to play or have a job because I have lots of energy to burn off. Are you a hiker or runner that needs a companion? I'm surely the guy for you if you'd give me a chance.
