I have the whole, entire set of 1947 World Book Encyclopedias for sale. They are in great condition. And they have always been kept in the house, first at my grandmother's and then at my mother's house. I inherited them and am currently in the process of eliminating some things, so that we can move easier and not have to store things. And they have been used very little. They would be a great asset to someone's home as reference books or simply as a collector item for their antique and vintage status. You can also check how the newer reference material has somewhat "altered" historical events, to be more politically correct now. They are the usual red cover edition.
