Autodesk Inventor Specialist
Contract Position/Entry Level
Cornelius N.C

We are a small start up company seeking an Autodesk Inventor Specialist. Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign along with a technical background in computers and graphic design would be a plus. We are currently in the product development, packaging, marketing development stages of our business. Our sister companies have developed a line of proprietary garden products that are sold through various channels including mass retailers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Costco and Sam’s Club. You are a thorough, accurate, detail oriented person with multi-tasking capabilities who consistently demonstrates good judgment in setting priorities and problem-solving. You also are very self disciplined and motivated to work in an efficient manner for maximum output. A technician who gets energized by having a massive pile of work in front of him and getting it done….not so much dreaming it up.


Summary:
-Responsible for developing detailed working drawings in both 2D and 3D that have been communicated to you via 2D sketches.
- Responsible to manage multiple design revisions thru to completion for overseas manufacturing and packaging.
-Responsible to prepare illustrations for instruction manuals and possible complete assembly
-Responsible to do anything else that you can do that needs to be done

Location
Work will be completed at our office in Cornelius NC. We operate a very open office concept and subscribe to taking our work seriously…but not ourselves.

Your primary source of authority and management regarding the day to day tasks/issues/communication will be Stephen Prins

Minimum Qualifications:
: Demonstrated competence.....specifically with Autodesk Inventor & AutoCad.
: Working proficiency of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Additional Assets:
: You are technically competent with computers. Having a background in IT would be a great asset to bring into this job.
: You have a construction background and somewhat of a handy-man
: You enjoy DIY projects
: You are a creative person but more so technically inclined.

Hrs of Work
: 8 until 5
: up to 40hrs per week…..all depends on work flow
Remuneration:
: $15.00 to $20.00 per hr based on experience

: all will be supplied
